Festival Introduction

Thank you for your interest in our Chicago tango festival! Please join us as we celebrate our fifth year in beautiful Chicago with a full week of wonderful tango events at Tango on the Town! This year our goal has been to bring you a more intimate, action-packed weekend tango celebration at the lowest price possible and compliment it with extraordinary concerts, milongas and music workshops for everybody, from the novice tango curious person to the experienced tango dancer. We are also offering a special, Back-to-School Tango Camp -MAD-HOT TANGO CLASSES FOR KIDS!

Our new venue, the venerable Old Town School of Folk Music, has taught and celebrated music and cultural expressions rooted in the traditions of diverse American and global communities for more than fifty years. As faculty members of the well-respected Old Town School, we are honored to be able to present our workshops at such an inspirational venue.
