Alex Krebs & Elizabeth Sadowska
Alex is completely fanatic about the Argentine tango, and thoroughly enjoys sharing his passion with his students.
In the past decade, Alex has taught tango in over 80 cities between 10 countries. Teaching tango from coast to coast in North America has made him a US favorite. In 2008 he taught at St. Louis ’ Hot Winter Tango, Austin ’s Fandango de Tango, Minneapolis ’ Heartland Tango Festival, the Yale Tango Fest and the Toronto Tango Festival among other cities.
His solid background as a dancer and musician gives him a unique perspective on teaching students musicality in tango. His knowledge of the structure of the dance and music, balanced with his clarity of instruction gives students an easy path to learning all aspects of the dance. Teaching Argentine tango for the social dance floor, Alex emphasizes musicality and the improvisatory side of the dance through a strong communication between the lead and follow, trying to give his students the vocabulary necessary so that each person can find their own unique way of dancing -- dancing the tango of their own body.
