Melina Sol Greco & Fernando Rodríguez
Fernando Andres Rodriguez has performed with the Tango Pasión, Tango Seducción and Tango XII dance companies. With Tango Seducción, he toured throughout Europe and the United States and gave tango dance workshops in France, Brasil, Portugal and Germany. Over the years, Fernando has danced in a number of tango dinner shows in Buenos Aires, including La Cumparsita, El Querandí, Michelangelo, Piazzola Tango, El Viejo Almacén, La Esquina Carlos Gardel, Rojo Tango and Tango Porteño.
Melina Sol Greco graduated from the Argentine National School of Dance and took post-graduate instruction in contemporary dance at the San Martin Theater. She participated in Dance New Amsterdam, the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, Four Stations (New York), Companía Corporación Tangos (New Zealand performances), Rojo Tango and Tango Porteño (Buenos Aires), as well as the first film on the life of Homero Manzi.
Fernando and Melina have danced together with the Tanguera dance company, touring Japan, as well as the permanent company for Tango Corazónicos, directed by Ruben and Sabrina Veliz. Currently they perform with the Tango Porteño company in the Metro Theater, Buenos Aires. Their style is strikingly romantic and their teaching emphasizes the connection between partners, the expression and interpretation of the music and impeccable technical execution with passion and communication between the dancers.
