Have you seen tango and been captivated by its drama and passion? Have you thought you’d like to be able to do it, but believed you never could? Have you toyed with the idea of taking lessons but never really gotten around to it? Are you tired of sitting on the sidelines watching other people have fun?

The 2007 International Chicago Tango Fest is proud to provide you the opportunity to get “a taste of the tango”. Tango 101 will offer complementary introductory classes in the fundamental and basic techniques of tango, led by some of Chicago’s best local instructors.

All you have to do is fill out the registration sheet below and, as soon as it is available, we will send you the schedule of free classes, which will be offered from Thursday, August 14th, to Wednesday, August 20th, in the Chicago area, prior to the 2008 International Chicago Tango Fest events.

We know you will find the tango to be an experience that will start you on a fascinating journey of self-discovery and expression. Join the passion: if you can walk, you can dance tango!

And for those who have never dance tango before, but want to really start having a new passion in your life!, we are offering a wonderful “Tango Novice” promotion.

FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY. If you register for a festival full pass package, and pay before July 31, you will get a discounted rate. For a single all-inclusive package you’ll pay only $300! And for a couples package, only $600! And we will include a complimentary “Basics and Fundamentals” - six week class session for Tango Novices, at the American Tango Institute, so that you will be ready to enjoy the festival with all of the Tango aficionados from all over, coming to our festival.
